Final exam of semester one today at 9:20 and I'm dying. I feel like this unit was the easiest out of the three but my poor time management skills this exam period has led to this :( I was under the assumption that the other two units would be super hard so I dedicated 1 week to each unit and i only had 1.5 days to study for this unit.

Optical communications, please be nice to me.

In other news, I found out there's such thing called cableporn on imgur. It's a compilation of cables being sorted and managed very nicely in server rooms LOL meanwhile at cisco..

So close to the finish line. I got my second exam at 1:50pm today and hopefully it won't be late like my first one. My first exam was 20 minutes late because those ladies were noobs at preparing the room and there were like 3 exams running in the same room because only around 20-30 people were doing my unit. That just shows how unpopular digital communications is haha.

The exam I have coming up in electricity networks and the lecturer released last year's past paper with the solutions and idk if that's a good thing or bad thing. The past papers have been pretty similar each year but he didn't release them previously. Since he released last years one, does that mean this year's will be radically different? Oml I would be so screwed :(

I really hate exam periods because I get all stressed out and my body does not function like normal. Ugh, I can't wait until exams are over and I'll be free for a month ~~ sorta. Going to be working full time again to rack up some dough and then go on a Melbourne trip with Juliana before the holidays end :) !

Can't wait to add more stars to my map.

For some reason, Sunday is the night where I stay up and Monday is the day where all my things are due. I had a lab report to do which was a group thing and I just wrote the intro + reworked some methodology in the report and I felt like I did my part. I slept in during that lab so I missed it entirely and I have no idea what was going on LOL.

Then one of my friends was like hey how are you going with ____ lab report and i was like OH SHIT, I completely forgot that I had another lab report due and by this time, it was already 11 pm. QQ. Now it's like 3:30 and I'm almost done.. it took me longer than usual because of all this data entry !! We had to read off 7 meters on a power simulator and now I'm typing up the results and analysing it. Typing the tables up alone took an hour :( such sadness

Meanwhile, I opened up my Google Play Music and the first thing I saw was "Wake me up" playlist. The playlist overall is quite nice. It's a mix of old and new hit songs. Some of those songs were the ones I listened to when I was chucking my physics HSC all nighter lol. Thanks Kesha I guess...?

I started a wordpress blog but I cannot find any viewers. Not that I mind but it would be nice to see some viewers or followers. Funny how this blog gets viewers from US and russia and I'm like.. how did you find me??

Right now I'm trying to write my literature review. I had the whole semester to do it but of course, in good old jun fashion, I left it to the last minute. It said it's due on the 30th of May but it didn't really specify the time. I was trying to aim for midnight on the 29th of May but yeah.. I'm not going to finish this by midnight.

So my literature review is on 5G.. you know, the wireless communication thing. Specifically, it's on data management and I'm looking at interference management + spectrum management. It's all pretty new and I'm reading into the latest articles on this subject. So you basically have all the main telecommunication vendors + academics trying to figure out the specifications and how to implement 5G and this is all going to happen by 2020. We'll probably see 5G being used in phones and IoTs a few years after that. It'll probably even surpass our crappy nbn right now with aims of 1ms latency and higher data rates.

I also got some pre work reports due at 10am and 1 hw quiz due at 12pm.

Tonight is going to be a long night. Thank god I got a coffee machine...although it makes me wanna poo poo.

New blog, clean slate.

A lot has been happening with uni and work. There's a literature review I need to write by the 30th, need to write notes for exams and trying to manage work in between that.

Not really sure what I was expecting out of this blog.

We'll see.
